The municipality of Carbone runs a market devoted to the Serrapotamo white truffle, gathered in the woods of the valley. It takes place from Friday 30 October to Sunday 1 November 2026 along Via Vittorio Veneto, between the junction with provincial road 40 and Via Piave. Forty wooden stalls for exhibitors and producers line the route. Carbone sits in the Serrapotamo valley, inside the Pollino National Park.
